Y'know, I've seen a couple of episodes, and he may have a point.

I'm intermittently able to reply to your LJ. Sometimes there's a "leave comment" option and sometimes only an unclickable "()" symbol. How are things in beautiful Austin?

It's probably your ad-filtering software. I had to edit Norton Security so it wouldn't block pages starting with "ad-". If your using Norton, click Ad Blocking, click configure to open the Advanced dialog box. Then remove ad- from the list of blocked html strings. (Aplogies if you already knew how to do this.)

Austin is doing fine and my 'maters are growing like gangbusters! already harvesting from one variety. The vocalist we saw when you visited has moved to San Diego though. :(

At the risk of sounding like a redneck, it's Bo and LUKE Duke, not Duke Luke (they being the Duke brothers). *g*

But you know, I can see the resemblance, now that he mentions it...

Holy guacamole, I didn't even realize I had done that!

DH snuck onto a location (he used to live in SoCal) and got to see part of the last one being filmed. He was hoping to catch a glimpse of Daisy Duke but saw Boss Hogg instead. :p

I never watched it by choice! :p One of my sisters always had to have the TV on (plus I think she liked John Schneider, just wouldn't admit it!)

I think my folks watched it, but by then I was a teenager and had my own TV and my own agenda and didn't have to watch what they watched; all I remember was Waylon Jennings singing the theme (and the car, of course).

That's my buddy Dave Insley. He's sort of relocated to Austin (although his wife and kid still live here, I guess it sounds better, being "from Austin" than from Scottsdale!) - in the next month he'll be at Hole in the Wall (twice), Woody's South, Riley's Tavern, Brentwood Tavern, Opal Divine's Penn Field, and of course Gruene Hall. For us it's been one show this month. :-P If you ever get a chance to catch one of his shows, just request "Seeds & Stems" and he'll do it for you (you can tell him I told ya about him). It's a very sad country song. *g*
